For those who have not heard: on 8/16/11 approximately 3:30pm a fire started in the bar here at Yorktown. While we were open at the time
(the bar was not), we are lucky to have caught it early enough to have evacuated everyone quickly and safely. Fire and heat damage was mainly confined to the bar,
snack bar and kitchen areas (and the roof above it), but smoke and soot permeated every other bit of the building. As we are hoping to reopen within a couple of
months, at this time we do not have an exact time table on the rebuilding process. The Yorktown family is very appreciative of all our customers, and hope to
continue to serve you all again as soon as possible. Things will be newer and better on the inside, and we are excited to move forward on this positive note
